The University of California Cooperative Extension hosted a virtual workshop on how homeowners can retrofit their homes to be less vulnerable to wildfire.

The three presenters are:
Christina Restaino – Assistant Professor with the University of Nevada’s Living with Fire Program
Susie Kocher – a registered professional forester and a Forestry Advisor at the University of California Cooperative Extension Central Sierra
Stephen Quarles – Chief Scientist for Wildfire and Durability at the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety Research Center

The workshop does an excellent job expanding on the concepts we describe in the Ready! Set! Go! section of our website.
