Large wildfires in California cause significant socioecological impacts,and half of the federal funds for fire suppression are spent each yearin California.

In partnership with the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden, a team of UCSB graduate students are surveying local communities in order to learn about what plants are commonly found near homes.
